Hey all,

The New Year is here and with everything new comes -hope-.

Alvin has decided to take over the space left by Vek (Drefonis) in my Ca-en campaign. He is planning a crafty Sorcerer (Cosmic perhaps?) to ease the party's AoE and ranged woes.

Meanwhile, Shell's Swordmage (Fel) is a thing of the past. The angst-filled one realized that his discovery of an ancient tome of Blood Magic required him to pursue an agenda entirely different from the party. He left quietly on his own at the break of dawn after spending his last night at The Bar with his mates and Head-Captain Tel.

So as the story unfolds, the Heroes of Maya- they of the purple collarpins, are left with two original members.

The ever-reliable Sir Guy the Brave, Morningstar of Pelor, Saviour of the Northern Farmlands, and  Trogdor the Burninator, the diety-torn Dragonborn who incurred the displeasure of the Queen more than once in the past. But fickle as Trogdor might be, he seems to have matured over time and harden his resolve to serve the Raven Queen. A trip to Castle Greyskill might prove timely in cementing his desire to assist the Queen and her Cause.

Head-Captain Tel will be surprised to say the least when he next see the heroes (or the lack of them) for a planned meeting at the HQ.

This has been mentioned numerous times, but now I can write this again in confidence. Leading up to Chapter 2 in a fortnight, I will be posting all-new background articles and game information to allow my players further immersion during their adventures in the vast continent of Ca-en.

So keep your eyes peeled and your guards up, for Chapter 2 is coming soon to a town near you!
